If in Semarang has Arina, in Madiun has GEA. GEA is mini car that developed by PT INKA Madiun that ready to launched at the market. At this time GEA is waiting for BPPT test result.

GEA stand for Gulirkan Energi Alternatif and the meaning is Spread Alternative Energy.

The GEA Engine has capacity 650 cc at the first time use China product but now has already use 100% local product .

About the price, GEA predicted to sell about 45-50 million rupiah the same price of India car Tata Nano.

Arina is micro car made in Indonesia which is from UNNES (Semarang University). Beside Arina, in Indonesia through PT Inka Madiun has also developed the car called mini GEA.

The Arina uses motor cycle engine 150 cc, 200 cc, dan 250 cc that imported from China at this time. But all of the body was produced in Indonesia.

The man behind the micro car is Widya Aryadi the UNNES lecuture

The name of Arina is stand for Armada Indonesia and predicted the price of Arina will about 30 million rupiah, I think less than the Tata Nano from India that has price about 40-50 million rupiah.

KIA schedulled to unveiled its new Kia Sorento at Seoul Motor Show at Mei 2009. The new Sorento promises better body frame and will equipped with a six, eight or 10-speaker audio system.
The KIA Sorentp also will has MP3 and iPod connectivity, plus built-in or external amplifier and a new sat-nav system with a 6.5-inch screen.
Beside that the Sorento will plug with remote controls for the audio system are mounted on the steering wheel.

The Sorento price range is about £19,975 – £25,410

Aprillia schedulled to launch their new products in Indonesia through PT. Sentra Kreasi Niaga (SKN). Aprillia will launch 2 models in Indonesia market which is Aprillia RS 125 and Scarabeo.

The launching ceremony itself will be held at Sentul circuit.

Aprillia RS 125 will sell with price 99 million rupiah and Aprillia Scarabeo 52 million rupiah.
