MPV Englon SV5 To Release in Indonesia

PT Geely Mobil Indonesia (GMI) confirmed to come of MPV Englon SV5 in Indonesia.
MPV Englon SV5 comes in 2 engines choices.
The engine capacity of the vehicle is 1,299 cc and 1,498 cc, but GMI would sale the 1,498 cc one.
In addition to these MPV, Geely also plans would release a luxury sedan with engine capacity of 1,800 cc. Unfortunately Budi reluctant to mention the type of car but it certainly would be present along MPV Geely Geely booth at this year’s IIMS
However, there is no price revealed about the vehicle.

Geely Panda Price in Jakarta Lower Than Surabaya

PT Geely Mobil Indonesia just launched the first time Geely Panda in Surabaya and now turn to Jakarta to enjoy the China car.
Interestingly, the price of Geely Panda in Jakarta is lower than in Surabaya which is about 95 million rupiah.
However, no reason revealed about the different of the prices.
Geely Panda is driven by engine 1,300 cc 5 speeds and capable of generating power 63 Kw at 6,000 rpm and max torque 110 Nm at 5,200 rpm.
The vehicle comes in 5 different colors white, green, yellow, silver and read.
The Panda is also equipped with power steering, electric mirror, GPS, entertainment DVD with 6 speaker, front safety disc brake, ABS, EBD, over speed warning 120 km/jam, rear door safety lock, and airbag.

Geely Panda and MPV GV 515 To release At the end of year 2010

PT Geely Mobil Indonesia (GMI) confirmed like to lauch the mini city car Geely Panda at the same time with the launch of its MPV Geely GV 515.
The both cars should be launched about at the end of year 2010.
The Geely Panda that has long 3.5 meter would powered by enging 1,300 cc 4 cylinders to produce 80 hp.
Geely Panda also provides engine 1,000 cc.

Geely Sedan MK1 and Hatchback MK2 Launched


Geely, the China’s car maker, just launched 2 type Geely models in Indonesia called Geely MK1 and Geely MK2.
The MK1 is Sedan car with price between 120 – 136 million rupiah while the MK2 is hatchback car with price between 130-136 million rupiah.
Both models use the engine capacity of 1500 cc DOHC 4-cylinder. The resulting power can reach 69 Kw at 6000 rpm and torque of 128/3400 rpm.

There is news reported that the first Geely SUV is going to launch in China October 2009.
Geely will be started production in mid September and go on sale in October 2009.
The production will be held in new Chengdu facility, in which they have invested 3 billion RMB.
