Teenage Car Made By Teenager of SMK PGRI 6 Students

One more, a car from the SMK high school student emerged.
The concept of Teenage Car comes from one of SMK PGRI 6 Surabaya student that wants a car meet teenage style.

See (Esemka Rosa, SMK Rajawali, Esemka Digdaya 2, Esemka Zhangaro, Toyota Etios Liva)

And then it was realized by using an engine of Daihatsu Hijet 550 cc.
The engine has been modified and the result is, the engine can run about 60km/hour.
While the body of this car is pure the result of the students work including the door seems alike Rolls-Royce.
In addition, Teenage Car has an unique value in which the steering wheel placed in the middle.

Esemka Rosa Van 1.5i is a van with 8 seater by using chasis and gearbox from Toyota Hiace.
Esemka Rosa Van 1.5i uses engine capacity 1,500 cc Multi EFI.

Esemka Zhangaro is one of Esemka car that jolt the Indonesian car world.
Esemka Zhangaro is a pick up for commercial use.
This commecial car is the result work of SMK Negeri 10 Malang.
The design of Esemka Zhangaro looks like Futura or Suzuki Carry, chasis and gearbox use Mitsubishi Colt T 120 SS year 2003, transmision 5 speed from Suzuki Vitara, headlamp from Daihatsu GrandMax and stop lamp from Daihatsu Taft.

Esemka Car The New Indonesia Car Developed by Senior High School (SMK) Student

Afer Mobil GEA, Arina, Komodo and Tawon, there is a new Indonesia car the master piece of Senior High School Student (SMK) emerges. The car called Esemka, like the spell of SMK in Indonesia language.

Not such the other Mobnas (MobilNasional), Esemka comes with several variants such as SUV, pick up double and single cabin, sedan and van.

In developing Esemka, there are several SMK Schools involved. For instance the body and design is the responsible of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Borobudur Magelang while for the engine is the responsible of SMKN 4 Jakarta and SMK 1 Cibinong.

One of Esemka variant is Esemka Digdaya which is a pick up double cabin with ex Timor 1.500 cc as the engine. The Esemka Digdaya was created by SMK 1 Singosari Malang . To develop Esemka Digdaya, the students need about 3 months to finish it.

So will Esemka to be mass production ?
